The National Association of Certified HypnoCounselors was founded to meet the aspirations and professional needs of qualified men and women who elect to pursue a profession in the field of hypnosis and to facilitate in setting forth a viable networking mechanism to identify the degree of education and practice required to be recognized as qualified professionals. The uniqueness of this association is that it is dedicated to the certification of all hypnoCounselors on a national level and is committed to interfacing with those major organizations available for legitimate certification in hypnosis.

The National Association of Certified HypnoCounselors offers its membership an opportunity to:

1. Identify and investigate pertinent areas of concern in the field of hypnosis
2. Provide a climate for discussion of significant issues relevant to hypnosis and to analyze critical problems.
3. Participate in the special seminars presented, that are designed to sharpen those skills required in hypnocounseling.
4. Meet and interact with professions involved in investigative study and ongoing research methods of the mind: both the conscious and the subconscious.
5. Have an opportunity of working with those professionals interested in unifying and demythifying the field of hypnosis.
6. Actively participate in the investigatory legislation relative to mandatory licensure of all hypnocounselors within the United States.
7. Assist others in an awareness and an acceptance of the diversity of training and techniques employed in the field of hypnosis.
